A Bit About Poole Personal Training

Carl Rochfort - Level 3 Certified Personal Trainer

I have always had a passion for physical fitness and loved advising and motivating friends, family and colleagues with their fitness and training needs so a career as a Personal Trainer was a logical choice for me. I am a Level 3 Qualified Personal Trainer with a proven ability to help clients reach their personal fitness goals and objectives. I pride myself on my ability to understand my clients’ needs, helping them to achieve challenging but realistic client-centred goals.
I feel getting into shape shouldn’t be a punishment. It’s an amazing lifestyle decision that anyone can make. I believe in finding the fun in fitness; and while there may be a sore muscle or two along the way, the benefits of fitness make it worth the discomfort
Having a family and a career means I understand the difficulty of fitting exercise into a busy lifestyle. I help clients to stay motivated by setting small, achievable goals in order to build exercise into their everyday life whilst continuing to feel positive that they will achieve their longer term fitness objectives.
My special interests include strength and functional training, as well as weight-loss and body toning. I love meeting new clients and helping them achieve their fitness goals whether it is fat loss, strength building or generally getting fitter and healthier. I am here to help.

My Fat Loss


I was just under 17 stone in this photo, I was mortified at how unhealthy I looked, I decided to make a change. I wanted to look and feel healthier but I didn't want to lose muscle mass and strength.

3 stone down in 3 months


It was important that the majority of weight loss was fat and not muscle. Too much muscle loss during a weight loss program will be detrimental to the amount of calories you burn at rest, which means if the program is stopped the weight/fat will quickly pile on again. In order to achieve this my diet and training had to be on point.

Poole Personal Training (PPT) is offering free group, couples or 1:1 training sessions raising funds for Poole Hospital Charity: 

- sessions are 30-45 mins each

- sessions carried out at PPT's outside base BH12 4LL
